Author Guidelines

1. General Formatting

  • Paper Size & Margins: A4 paper with 2.5 cm left and top margins, 2 cm right and bottom margins.

  • Font & Spacing: Times New Roman, 10 pt, single-spaced.

  • Maximum Length:

    • Original research articles: 12 pages.

    • Review/survey papers: 16 pages.

  • File Format: Microsoft Word (.docx).

2. Title

  • Concise and informative, not exceeding 12 words.

  • Avoid acronyms, abbreviations, or phrases like "A study of...", "Analysis of...", etc.

3. Authorship & Affiliations

  • List authors with superscript numbers corresponding to their affiliations.

  • Provide full department, university, and country details for each affiliation.

  • Example:
    Authors^1,2^, Author^3^
    ^1^Department of Computer Science, University X, Country.
    ^2^Department of Engineering, University Y, Country.

4. Abstract

  • Length: 100–200 words.

  • Content: Clearly state the purpose, methodology, key results, and conclusions.

  • Avoid references and non-standard abbreviations. Define abbreviations at first use if necessary.

  • Keywords: 5–7 keywords, using American spelling, placed below the abstract.

5. Manuscript Structure (IMRaD Style)

1. Introduction

  • Provide background, problem statement, literature review, proposed approach, and research innovation (3–6 paragraphs).

  • Cite references in IEEE style (e.g., [1], [2]).

2. Theoretical Basis/Proposed Method (Optional)

  • Include if the manuscript introduces a new method/algorithm.

3. Method

  • Describe research design, procedures (algorithms, pseudocode), testing, and data acquisition.

  • Support with figures, tables, and references (e.g., Figure 1, Table 1).

4. Results and Discussion

  • Present results using figures, graphs, or tables.

  • Discuss findings with subsections as needed.

  • Equations should be centered and numbered (e.g., (1)).

5. Conclusion

  • Summarize key findings and align with the introduction.

  • Suggest future research directions.

6. Additional Sections

  • Acknowledgments: Recognize non-author contributors (optional).

  • Funding Information: Declare funding sources or state "No funding involved."

  • Author Contributions: Use CRediT taxonomy (e.g., Conceptualization, Methodology). Designate a corresponding author.

  • Conflict of Interest: State "No conflict of interest" if applicable.

  • Informed Consent & Ethical Approval: Required for studies involving humans/animals.

  • Data Availability: Specify where data can be accessed (e.g., repository, author contact).

7. References

  • Minimum: 25 for original research; 50 for review papers.

  • Format: IEEE style. Examples:

    • Journal:
      J. K. Author, "Title," Abbrev. J. Name, vol. X, no. X, pp. XX–XX, Month. year, doi: XXX.

    • Conference:
      J. K. Author, "Title," in Conf. Abbrev., year, pp. XX–XX, doi: XXX.

    • Book:
      J. K. Author, Title, Xth ed. City, Country: Publisher, year.

8. Figures & Tables

  • Figures: Center-aligned, cited in text (e.g., Figure 1), with clear captions.

  • Tables: Numbered (e.g., Table 1), center-aligned, and formatted clearly.

9. Submission

  • Submit via the journal’s website: https://ijarlit.org.

  • Ensure all sections are complete and formatted correctly.

10. Open Access

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
